Hello
My name is Alice, and I am passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, with a particular interest in neurodevelopment and helping young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) thrive.
I have almost 17 years of experience in education and have held leadership roles including Head of Year and Head of Design Technology. I began my career in design after graduating with a BA (Hons) in Textile Design from Nottingham Trent University, working as a textiles designer specialising in children’s fashion before retraining as a Design and Technology secondary school teacher.
While teaching, I completed a Master’s degree in Advanced Educational Practice at University College London in 2018.
Alongside my work in education, I am also a neuro developmental therapist and trained JIAS provider. Using a gentle, non-invasive approach to integrate retained reflexes, I support children in building the foundations they need for learning, confidence and overall wellbeing.
